Billy Burke Shoots Down Kristen/Rob Romance Rumours -

Billy Burke, AKA Charlie Swan, gives his thoughts on the rumours that have been circulating about our favourite on screen couple -

"As far as I know, I'm gonna say bullsh*t," Burke asserted, according to E! Online. "I'm not buying it please!"

Burke, who admits to knocking a few back with RPattz in the Vancouver bars while the two were filming New Moon, adds that his co-star isn't nearly as glamorous as his millions of swooning female fans might assume.

"He's a goofball," Burke opines. "If people knew how much of a goofball he was, they wouldn't be falling all over the place. He doesn't take it all too seriously."

Kiss Off! Zac Efron Vs Robert Pattinson - I Know Who I'd Choose!

Radar Online asked Andrea Demirjian, expert on kissing (so much so that she wrote a book about it!), who she thought should win 'best kiss' at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. When it came to Rob's kiss here is what she had to say -

"When it comes to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s forbidden vampire-on-human kiss, Demirjian was impressed. “I looked at this one a few times, cuz I was like, ‘whoa!’” she laughed. “The kiss was so sexy, just the way their lips were grazing against each other—it wasn’t deep-throat tongue kissing.” Part of the appeal of this silver-screen kiss is the tension, Demirjian said, which gave the eventual smooch “all the perfect makings of suspense and anticipation. And that makes a kiss more desirous.”

I'd have Rob any day, just thinking about that kiss sends my knees to jelly!

First Official New Moon Trailer To Debut On Sunday -

So we knew a week ago that Sunday would bring us our first glimpse of footage from New Moon, but now MTV bring us the fantastic news that actually it will be the first official trailer that we will feast out eyes on!-

"Last week, we dropped a bombshell of OME proportions when we announced that the cast of "New Moon" will be presenting exclusive footage from their upcoming "Twilight" sequel during the MTV Movie Awards. Now we can reveal that the never-before-seen video that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be introducing on Sunday's live show is the movie's first trailer.

The stars will present the premiere of the "New Moon" trailer on the Movie Awards, airing at 9:00 pm ET on Sunday. Then at 10:45 p.m., the high-definition video will debut online."

Are These People Crazy? Italian Extras Fail To Show Up For Today's Shoot -

How much would you give to participate in the making of New Moon? An arm? I thought so... So you will be as shocked as I am, that a large majority of the Italian extras are not on set today. My Park Mag has the low down -

"Robert Pattinson might have got half naked yesterday but that didn't stop lots of the New Moon extras quitting.

It seems like they were unhappy with the long hours and decided not to show up today.

This has caused a big problem on set as have to try to find some more extras for todays scenes.
Some American Twilight fans have stepped forward and should hopefully be in the actual movie.

Wow."

Chris Weitz Explains His Decision To Choose Montepulciano Over Volterra -

Twilight Italia was lucky enough to be the only Twilight Blog in attendance at a press conference with Chris Weitz in the last couple of days and have posted about it on their site. During the press conference Chris was asked about choosing Montepulciano for the Italy scenes, here is what Twilight Italia have to say about it (translated by google, not necessarily 100% accurate)-

"I add here that, following a question about why the choice is its fallout on the city that is hosting the filming, Chris Weitz said that he opted for a need for symmetry and photography. It also took the occasion to say that both cities are beautiful.

He added that if there is someone to "blame" for this decision then that's him because he was a very strong wish of the square instead of Montepulciano to Volterra. And I tell you my impression when he spoke you could see clearly that he has done a very professional choice based on that of which in his view, the film needed to make up. I have never concealed that among people who appreciate this director, so I am sure that has worked and is working to make a New Moon really the best."

New Moon Cast And Shooting Updates -

Lainey Gossip reports on the current filming schedule for the Italy scenes, and posts some more photos of the cast leaving Vancouver/arriving in Italy -

"Shooting begins on Tuesday and the planned schedule is as follows:

First two days will focus on Bella trying to make her way through the throngs of festival revelers to reach Edward. She jumps in the fountain, wades through it, towards him. Of course she makes it in time at which point he pulls her into a building.

By the way – if you’re wondering, yes, they’ll be trying to include the “slamming” into his body.

When they reunite, Bella and Edward do kiss followed by the arrival of Jane and the others. They’ll also film something from Alice’s perspective on these two days. She “sees” Edward sparkling in the sunlight.

Some the driving sequences will also go ahead on Tuesday and Wednesday, schedule permitting.

On Thursday they’ll be jumping into a hole in the ground. This will likely be Robert Pattinson’s final day barring any major delays – heads up to you twi-hards who’ve made the journey. Friday is more driving and Porsche work.

After that…a Twilight break. Until August."

New Moon Cast Relax In Montepulciano -

Radar Online have some pics and an article about the cast, who are now in Italy. They kindly emailed it over to me, so here it is -

"After some revelry in Cannes, Robert Pattinson jetted off to Italy to re-join with his New Moon cast as they resume filming on the Twilight sequel New Moon.

While Pattinson flew in from France, co-stars Ashley Greene and Kristen Stewart flew together from Vancouver. Another addition to their group? Stewart's boyfriend Michael Angaro. So much for those RPattz romance rumors!

Greene immediately took advantage of the warm climate, happily donning a bikini but in true vampire style, the fair-skinned actress quickly got sunburned. Later in the afternoon, the group stopped by a local pizzeria. That evening, the cast kept the fun going with dinner at a local restaurant near their base location of Montepulciano. As Pattinson enjoyed a beer, Stewart rolled a cigarette as they relaxed with other members of the production."
