Director Oliver Irving, who worked with R-Patt on the movie How To Be, even says he had to DOWN PLAY his good looks for How To Be with “the most awkward haircut” and highwater trousers cuz R-Patt was too damn attractive. Even his MUSICAL GENIUS was cut short. Irving says, “A lot of the time he would turn out to have a really good technique and we told him he needed to play it more simply.” I don’t get this at all. Aren’t we supposed to be all we can be? Isn’t Robert supposed to be all he can be? Unless he’s going ugly for an Oscar, and I don’t recall How To Be being nominated recently. Robert should be nothing but 100% hot and successful and his amazing self all the time. All the time."

Peter Facinelli: "Yeah. They're going to have to wait for the third one. We're more in the third and fourth for sure. I saw, which was really funny, I saw Stephenie Meyer at Disneyland. We went to Disneyland – just randomly went to Disneyland with my family and we both were eating dinner at the [Blue] Bayou restaurant, you know, Pirates of the Caribbean. And it was so odd. "INKED: Let's talk tattoos. How many do you have?

JACKSON RATHBONE: I only have one right now, but I definitely plan on getting more. My friends and I were kind of the bad kids in school, the troublemakers. We went to Interlochen Arts Academy, this really great boarding school in Michigan, and there were six of us who were always acting out against authority. The school administration was like, "Stay away from those boys-they're ‘Lost Boys,'" so that's what everyone called us. When I was 18, I got a tattoo that says, "I'm lost."

Not All Of The Volturi Will Be Filming In Italy -

The Vancouver Sun has another interview with Cameron Bright, in which he talks about fame, Robert Pattinson and filming with Dakota Fanning. You can read the full article here, and below I have picked out the most interesting part -

"While he hasn’t worked with Fanning, he met her at the Critic’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles two years ago.

“She didn’t know who I was, so when I introduce myself and go, ‘Hey, do you remember me?’ she’ll probably say no,” he says, adding he should get to know her quickly on the Vancouver set.

“In our first scene, I get to kiss her on the cheek.”

Since his scenes are interiors, he won’t be joining her when exterior Volturi sequences are shot in Tuscany, Italy, however."

An Interview About Jamie and The Darling Buds -

Amazingly, Laura from Hiscrookedsmiles, was interviewed by Radar Online about The Darling Buds gig last week, here is a snippet -

"Twilight Devotee Laura tells us that Campbell Bower rocked the house (which seems to be a trend for males in the franchise), and also rocked some low-sitting denim.

"He was playing the guitar like nobody's business," Laura says, "[but} I really wanted him to pull up his jeans!"

Despite the plumber wardrobe, the young star (of Sweeney Todd fame) graciously posed for fan pictures after his set.

"He seemed really flattered...like, 'Wow, I'm really famous.'"

Melissa Rosenberg Wants Channing Tatum For Eclipse -

E! have a new interview with the Twilight screenwriter in which she talks about her pick for Riley in Eclipse and more -

“There’s a very big battle at the end with Riley, and I think Channing would do that so well,” Twilight and New Moon screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who is currently writing the Eclipse script, told us this weekend at the Los Angeles Times Book Festival benefit for the Writers Guild Foundation.

“And there are some complexities to that character," she adds. "He really is tragic. He’s a puppet for Victoria [bad-girl vampire played by Rachelle Lefevre]. So he has to break your heart a little bit at the end when he realizes that she doesn’t want him. Channing could do that beautifully.”

She also talks about why we may see more of Robert Pattinson in New Moon than you may expect -

“In the book, he’s actually an enormous presence in [Bella’s] mind,” Rosenberg said. “He’s so present in her mind throughout the entire center of the book, so we really played off that, and it kept him alive in a slightly different way, but fans will feel it’s true to the book. You can’t have a Twilight without Rob Pattinson.”

Finally she speculates on Breaking Dawn, and what may happen if it is made -

"And Rosenberg says you also can’t have a Twilight movie with anything more adult than a PG-13 rating. She has yet to be hired to write the script for the fourth, Breaking Dawn, but she thinks it’s safe to assume the book’s more graphic violent scenes will be tailored to keep it accessible for Twilight’s teen moviegoing audience.

“Our fans are in the PG age range, and I don’t feel a big necessity to see violence, and to see gore,” Rosenberg said. “I don’t need to see that. This whole series is more about their relationship. It’s not about the gore. I mean, there are some scary and special elements to it, but the series is really about relationships and coming of age and owning one’s power.”"

Hmmmmm I'd not really thought about Riley, more casting suspense to come!! Who do you think would make a good Riley?

Cameron Bright - Living On Vancouver Island Keeps Him Grounded -

The Vancouver Sun have an interview with Cameron Bright, who will play Alec in New Moon. He talks about how his film success has not affected him so much due to where he was brought up -

"Although Bright has acted alongside Hollywood stars such as Robert DeNiro and Nicole Kidman, this role could catapult him to a whole new level of fame. So-called Twi-hards, dedicated fans of the series by author Stephenie Meyer, are already keeping blogs updated with chatter about Bright and other stars in the movie.

But Bright said living on Vancouver Island has helped keep him grounded.

“If I didn’t live here, I think I would probably be that stereotypical actor. In Hollywood, everyone wants to be an actor and just flaunt it,” he said. “Here, they just don’t care.”

Bright, who lives with his brother Bryce, 19, and his mother, Anne, said being famous has its challenges.

“If I start a relationship with a girl and I tell one person in the morning, after lunch I get 30 e-mails: ‘Are you going out with so-and-so?’"

Kellan Lutz Interview - Fans Attempt To Handcuff Him - Kinky ;)

Kellan and Edi continue their press tour of Australia for the release of the Twilight DVD, and Kellan has given another interview, this time with news.com.au. Here is an excerpt -

“And, bless their hearts, they come in these big groups and battle to give us the best presents, (like) candy, picture frames, flowers, baskets of stuff.”

But it’s not like the 24-year-old hasn’t been bombarded by female fans, with some sending “scandalous” pictures and even attempting to chain themselves to his arm.

“They will come up and be like, I’m going to hand-cuff you,” he said.

“Now that is not they way you are meant to do it - you’ve gotta just throw them on and lock ‘em in.”

Live News have an interview with Kellan about the Twilight fans, LiLo and other girlfriend rumours -

"Twilight star Kellan Lutz dismissed rumours he is dating troubled Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan after jetting into Sydney to meet delighted fans and promote the film's DVD release.

Lutz, who plays vampire Emmett Cullen in the cult teenage film, is the latest to be linked to Lohan following her break-up with girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

But Lutz took the time to set the record straight.

"Someone just told me this, it's funny," he told AAP.

"It's crazy to read stuff about yourself and you're like where do people get this stuff from.

"I've met Lindsay once - like a year ago at just like an event and it was like, hey, hey, that's it.

"It's so weird."

I was SO annoyed that I could not make it to this gig, but lucky Laura from Team Solomon and His Crooked Smiles, did make it (on a work night!! you naughty girl! he he) by the looks of it she had an amazing time -

"Jamie has an amazing voice (he sounds much older than he looks - maybe that's good for Caius too?!) and the songs are definitely good - think Kings of Leon meets The Strokes - how can that be bad?!

He was really nice about our asking for photos (seemed to be enjoying it rather a lot actually, lol!), had a bit of a chat with us and was generally a really nice guy - if very young... I hope he can handle Hollywood and, more importantly, Twilighters!"

Although the film is being screened at the above locations, there is still more work to be done! We'd like to inform you that the city of Montepulciano has officially issued the casting call for italian walk-on actors/actresses.

We were informed this morning directly by Mr. Diego Mancuso head of tourism office in Montepulciano.

Screenings for selection of walk-on parts are open the following days:

Casting Women /Childrens

April 28th (tuesday) and April 29th (wednesday)

From 9:30 AM to 01:00 PM And from 2:30 PM to 07:00 PM

Casting Men

May 5th (tuesday) and May 6th (wednesday)

From 9:30 AM to 01:00 PM And from 2:30 PM to 07:00 PM

As indicated on the official document that you can find on Montepulciano town's website, the filming there will begin on May 25th and end on May 29th.

It's already Friday in Australia, and in a few hours fans will be waking to the chance of meeting Kellan and Edi (if they live in Sydney) -

"So two of the movie's sexy stars are sure to get pulses racing when they arrive in Australia this week.
Kellan Lutz, who plays good vampire Emmett Cullen, and Edi Gathegi, who plays bad vampire Laurent, are coming to Sydney to celebrate the release of the Twilight DVD, which comes out on Wednesday.
Lutz and Gathegi will be pressing the flesh and signing autographs in Sydney's CBD on Friday April 24, before appearing at Twilight-themed proms in Sydney and Melbourne over the weekend.

It's Official, David Slade Will Direct Eclipse!

So Nikki Finke was right, and David Slade had been in talks with Summit. Here is their official press release as shown on the official Summit website -

"Los Angeles, CA April 22, 2009 — Summit Entertainment announced today that David Slade has been hired to direct THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, the third film in the studio's TWILIGHT film franchise based on the Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster book series, will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. The announcement was made by Erik Feig, Summit's President of Production.

Meyer stated, "I am thrilled that David Slade will be directing ECLIPSE. He's a visionary filmmaker who has so much to offer this franchise. From the beginning, we've been blessed with wonderful directorial talent for the Twilight Saga, and I'm so happy that ECLIPSE will be carrying on with that tradition."

A German TV Show Offers A Role In The Twilight Saga -

Mission Hollywood, a German reality TV show, is apparantly offering the winner a part in one of the Twilight movies -

"Actor and producer Til Schweiger starts a new casting show “Mission Hollywood” June 8th on RTL.

This Wednesday the TV station informed us that they are in search for a new role in one of the sequels of Twilight.

Twelve ambitious female young talents are going to fight for a part in the movie. The show runs eight episodes.

The young women train with professional coaches on film kisses, action stunts or dance moves, to re-enact scenes from blockbusters like Dirty Dancing or James Bond.

Another Breaking Dawn Green Light Rumour -

Acting411 has always been pretty accurate in the past. They bought us news about New Moon, which turned out to be true, so lets hope they are correct with this also -

"Summit Entertainment has acquired the rights (optioned property) from Stephenie Meyer to film and distribute Breaking Dawn, the fourth novel in her series. The project has now been green lighted by the studio. Pre-production for Eclipse is already underway, and Breaking Dawn is in the early planning stages. Casting information will be posted here as soon as available. “Breaking Dawn” will start shooting in the spring of 2010, with a release scheduled for early 2011"
