Twilight Thought Of The Day -

Todays thought is how great Twilight is at bringing people together!! I hadn't spoken to a friend of mine for over a decade and then we get back in touch over a mutual love of Twilight. Rob And Nikki Sitting In A Tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G?????

Lainey Gossip has dished double dirt today!! First the pics from the La Push scenes and now this juicy bit of gossip about Nikki Reed and Rob Pattinson -

"Love Nikki Reed. So whatever he’s doing with Nikki Reed, it’s almost making up for the open-mouth posing. Almost.

Attached – exclusive shots of Nikki Reed on Sunday afternoon. Shortly after these photos were taken she took off for Rob’s place. Later that night (Sunday) they met up with friends, then ended up at one of the label parties after the Junos with Kristen Stewart and her boyfriend Michael Angarano. Am told Rob and Nikki spent much of the time talking to each other, heads bent close together.

My sources tell me exclusively that at the end of the evening, or early morning depending how you see it, the four of them left the event, hugged before parting ways (a weird 4-way group hug), Kristen and Michael hopped in a cab, and Nikki and Rob walked further up the block… arms wrapped around each other on their way home.

She stayed with him overnight, was supposed to be back in LA on Monday….

But never showed. "

Now, lets keep it sane here guys, they could just be good friends...

7 Things You Didn't Know About Alex Meraz - Courtesy Of Celebuzz

Celebuzz have an article which enlightens us on the subject of Alex Meraz, the guy who has single handedly converted many die hard Team Edward fans to 'the other side'. Here are a couple of the points they make and you can click here to see the rest along with some yummy pics of the guy himself-

"THE DUDE WORKS HARD: Nabbing the key role in Twilight was no fluke for the young actor. "If there's anyone I have known in my life that deserves this, it's Alex," says Trijillo. "He's worked his ass off in the time I have known him. He never lets up."

Beyond staying in top physical shape, the actor-student works hard on honing his craft, including his New Moon audition. "Alex drove from Phoenix to my ranch in New Mexico on his birthday weekend so I could help him with his audition," says Trujillo. "It's about 8 hours each way. But he knew he needed to get this done."

"He's humble," says Trujillo. "And he always showed that he was willing to listen and learn."
Even with those essentials, it took a lot of work, luck and talent to break through.

"New Moon happened to be there at the right time," says Trujillo. "This is his first big break. And what a break to have. This whole thing is a phenomena."

SORRY LADIES, HE'S MARRIED: Alex is madly in love with his Vietnamese-American wife Kim. They have a child named Somak (Trujillo is the god-parent). Kim was the one who was a true Twilight fan.

"His wife is the one who has read all of those books. And she's the one who said look, you have to got to get into this. This is perfect for you. You're the one."

FINALLY, HE'S RIPPED: "I sometimes have to tell him, 'I hate you, put your shirt on,' " says Trujillo."

New Moon Set - La Push Exclusive

"These are exclusive on set photos of Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as Bella and Jacob shooting scenes in what’s supposed to be La Push yesterday for New Moon. As you can see, they’re both wearing wigs. Movie making magic! And I always thought her hair was that thick and lustrous! There’d been a lot of questions about whether or not Taylor could grow into the role. From the back, Taylor does look kinda man now. Kristen’s make up is great. Am all over the stain they use on her lips. Gorgeous.

Right now, filming has primarily involved these two with some wolf shots thrown in here and there. However, while Taylor/Jacob will feature prominently, right now there are several “Edward” dream sequences planned, just so the crazy fan moms don’t lose their sh-t over not enough Robert Pattinson. Whether or not those parts make it to the final cut is another story. "

Twilight Is Officially The Biggest Video Release Of The Year -

Not surprisingly, Twilight has shot to the top of the video charts, The Vancouver Sun has the following article -

"LOS ANGELES — "Twilight" has quickly become the biggest home-video release of the year, selling 5.6 million units during its first eight days, according to trade publication Home Media Magazine.

The vampire romance took the crown from "Madgascar: Escape 2 Africa," which has sold an estimated 5.3 million units since its February 6 release, according to Home Media research.
"Twilight," like the "Madagascar" sequel, wasn't released on the traditional Tuesday street date. Rather, the film arrived on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on Saturday, March 21 ("Madagascar" came out on a Friday).

The release sold 3 million units its first day in stores, according to distributor Summit Entertainment, enough to send it to the top of the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart for the week ended March 22.

Just 3 percent of the film's total unit sales came from Blu-ray Disc, not surprising given the "Twilight's" Blu-ray Disc edition is being sold only at Target Stores and Best Buy until May 5."

And, it's not even out in the UK yet, or various other countries, so imagine what the figures will be like once it hits here!!!

Pitt Meadows Now A New Moon Set?

The Vancouver Sun have an article about New Moon and the various locations that it is being filmed in. They mention Pitt Meadows, which has not previously been mentioned anywhere else-

"Real star sightings are hard to come by as Pattinson is not showing up at location shoots to date. Twilight fan sites are speculating that his scenes are not yet filming.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have been sighted on location near Long Beach, Pitt Meadows and Port Coquitlam."

Rene Haynes Talks To Celebuzz About Twilight Fans -

Celebuzz have an article about Rene Haynes and her experiences as casting director for New Moon -

"This weekend saw some obvious muscle flexing by Twilight nation, as fans voted Twilight their "Favorite Book" at Saturday's Kid's Choice Awards.
But there are even more unseen instances of opinion-voicing going on every day. Just ask casting director Rene Haynes.
When Haynes was hired to cast the Native American roles in New Moon, she immediately became the center of attention of fans eager to speak their minds.
"It was crazy, especially in the early days," Haynes tells Celebuzz.
"In the first four weeks after the announcement that my office was casting these roles we stopped counting emails after 20,000," she tells Celebuzz. "I am not exaggerating."
"We had created a dedicated email address for the project. We got so many we had to create another one."
"I get email from kids seemingly around the planet."
Many did not stop there. When Haynes' office number was posted, the fans called there as well. This didn't help when Haynes would forward her phone calls to her cell phone and then received the 'Twilight' wake-up call usually from a foreign country.
"It happened more than a few times," she says.
"At 4:27 in the morning the conversation was generally me saying 'hi' and I don't speak whatever language you're speaking."
But Haynes generally talked it out. "They are pretty good about not bugging me or calling back. You want to encourage these kids and be realistic at the same time."
Haynes says she even kept her sunnyside up during the morning calls. "I try to be cordial even at 3 a.m.," she says. "It's a fanbase you don't want to upset."
Wise words indeed."

Taylor At Kids Choice - KStew With Boyfriend - Rob and Nikki Reed???

"Robert Pattinson was supposed to present at the Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday. Instead, Twilight was represented by Taylor Lautner. They are trying their best to make him a star. To give Pattinson a challenge, if this is possible. Twi-hard losers seem pretty keen on the Open Mouthed One. More on him later. For now, let’s help with Taylor’s cause. Photos attached of Taylor on the carpet for Nickelodeon and also arriving back in Vancouver on Sunday night to shoot again this week.
As for Rob, well, having bailed on the fangirls and the screaming, he was free to enjoy Juno Fest on Saturday and I’m told he enjoyed a low key chill night at one of the afterparties, At least he tried. Am told RP was approached repeatedly, some girls doing the usual super loser twi-hard gushy flappy arms thing and others trying to front like they were too cool to obsess over a movie hunk and starting up a conversation with him anyway, because he can totally tell between super loser twi-hard hysterics and closet super loser twi-hard hystericsd. It’s a huge difference.

Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart was joined by her BF Michael Angarano and her BFF Nikki Reed on Sunday. Here they are coming from late lunch. Interestingly enough, a short while after their meal, Nikki was spotted heading over to Rob’s. She stayed at his place a few hours, then they went out and hooked up with some friends…

Next question, I know it’s coming:

Are they dating?

Doubtful.

Are they f-cking?

The Volturi Cast - Jamie Campbell Bower Cast As Caius!

I'm a rubbish British Citizen, because it took an email from TwiCrack, who is ofcourse from across the pond, to point out that BBC news have a major story!!! -

"British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower has revealed he will play Volturi leader Caius in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
The 20-year-old, who has appeared in RockNRolla and Sweeney Todd, told the BBC news website that taking part in the vampire series was "very exciting".
"You're the first people I've told" he said. "Shooting has already started, and I'm going over in June."
The film, due for release in November, is the second adaptation from author Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series. "

He also goes on to say that he knows who else is cast but is not allowed to say -

"Campbell-Bower teased: "I do know who else will be in it - but I can't tell you, unfortunately.
"But go online and have a look at the rumours," he said, then added: "They're all false. You're putting me in a terrible situation."

Edward loves Mountain Lion and appears catlike when fighting, Emmet loves Bears and is pretty grizzly himself.... Now I'm sure it doesn't tell you in the saga, but what would you imagine was the animal of choice for Carlisle, Alice, Jasper, Rosalie and Esme?

Okay, so someone is having a laugh here!! The brilliant Twilight Examiner has an article about all the mud being slung Rob's way, and yes apparantly Rob is now really unsexy?? Well the Twilight Examiner I have to say I don't agree. Here is an extract from the Rob Haters -

"Shhh, don’t tell Twilight star Robert Pattinson, but the reportedly smelly, hygiene-challenged actor is not actually a vampire. Of course, that hasn’t stopped this tweenie heartthrob with the Groucho eyebrows from brooding like a fool at every camera in his path. The Empire Awards 2009 are currently running as we speak, and they are updating their blog as the winners and not so winners are announced. Rob was nominated as best newcomer along with Toby Kebell, Hayley Atwell, Jim Sturgess and Gemma Arterton. Sadly he was pipped to the post by Gemma Arterton. I don't think I'm alone when I say you are definately the best in every category in our eyes!!

I went to see Monsters Vs Aliens in 3D with my little one today and it got me thinking.... Can you imagine if they had made Twilight in 3D?..... Enough said, I'll leave you with that thought.. :)

A Husband's Sorry Tale -

Twilighters Anonymous has this brilliant letter from a Twilight Husband who is concerned about losing his wife!! My husband is in pretty much the same boat here, but he isn't suggesting that he can read the books to try and gain a greater understanding. Therefore I have no sympathy for him, whereas Stephen from the letter is clearly a top guy!! He will be joining us in our love of the series in approximately four books time.

Reading by its nature is a solitary act. A method which one can use to transported into another world, another time. Where one can exercise a compassion for humanity – without fear that the characters will suffer any long term ill, even if they die, they live on a previous page. In contradiction one can feel empathy with a characters feelings, not matter how fanciful they are.

Here in lies a problem. My wife (I sound like Colombo) is a Twilight fan; I don’t mean a causal reader or someone who has seen the film (which is not too bad in all honesty, better than the princess diaries), I mean a serious fan. She has seen the film at least three times to my knowledge (this could be more) and read all the books including the half finished manuscript from the lead characters view point, at least three times, again this could be more. She reads everything online, I am sure she has probably gone to page 600 on the Google search. She reads all the film blog updates. I think you get the idea, she has (a little bit of) an obsession.

The Twilight saga is a captivating story that has stolen my wife. Which sometimes I must admit I can find beneficial, I play guitar and it allows me time to practice, though I can’t record at the moment, as the laptop is constantly in use on the twilight treasure hunt.

I do feel some concern that it is a ‘waste of time’ as there is no product resulting from the obsession, though escapism is beneficial, is it right when it consumes most if not all of your free time? But the time is free after all.

My secondary concern is that this obsession is one I feel I have no part of or understanding of, maybe this is selfishness on my part, and I pledge to read the books to be able to share in the discussion. I will try and keep you updated with my findings.

Please tell your husbands, boyfriends, partners that someone else feels there pain. I am venturing into the unknown for them, if I am not back soon, don’t worry, I probably got bored, or worse still obsessed. "

"I'd like to say thank you for all of the lovely blogs from Ft. Lewis families and the miltary families across the world. You are the real heroes. What you do, putting your lives at risk, for our safety, makes my job look silly. I would have stayed another 16 hrs to make sure everyone got their DVD signed. It was my small feeble attempt to try to give back for all that you do. I had the honor of meeting General Jacoby while on the base. I was in awe of his presence. I know he will do great things for our Country. I asked him to get our soldiers back safe. He said, "I will. Its my job". I was inspired by him and all of the families I met that day. And for that I thank you.

God Bless. Be Safe. I pray we end this war, quickly, successfully, and free of any more casualties.

Rob has a new interview with Moviefone, in which he answers questions about the various rumours flying about -

1. I heard that you follow all the online gossip about yourself?

I read that and thought it was such bullshit. I was like, "God, I sound like such a loser!"

2. So it's not true?

Well, I do sometimes. I used to a lot more before and then ... I only look at the negative stuff. I just want to know whoever's saying negative stuff, and I just want to remember their names. I write it all down in my black book. [Laughs]

3. Is it true that you took a fan out for dinner?

That is true, yeah.

4. Is it true that, I don't know if you saw this, but a source on the set of 'New Moon' said that you don't smell good, that you don't shower?

I haven't even been on the set yet!

5. You know the same thing went around about Zac Efron a while ago; that he doesn't shower.

Really? He looks like he smells really good [laughs]. I also do shower.

6. I also read that you got hit on the head with a sign while you were filming?

You know, that is the most ... I actually got told about that this morning. It's like, "What?" It's the most boring story.

7. I just watched a Ryan Reynolds video interview and he called you "dreamy" and said he'd love to work with you.

[Embarrassed laugh] Really?

8. Is there anyone you'd love to work with?

Ryan Reynolds! [Laugh] ... I've always wanted to work with Benicio Del Toro, I think he's amazing. And there are tons and tons of people ...

Examining How The Flittering Images Of Edward Will Work -

The Twilight Examiner is here again, this time looking at how the rumoured 'flittering images' of Edward will work. Here is an excerpt -

"There are a number of possibilities. For starters, we know that Bella (Kristen Stewart) is expected to experience hallucinations throughout the whole film. Resulting as a consequence of her thrill-seeking behavior, Bella is to resort to dangerous tasks in order to summon up an audio memory of her beloved Edward's warning and protective voice. Perhaps, the director will use this opportunity to present these visions of Edward. Instead of a voice, they might present a vision of him. Or, maybe, alongside the voice, Bella could remember those piercing gold eyes or that crooked smile we all love.

Another way, of course, is to show Edward experiencing his hell in South American absence of Bella, a fact of whch book-readers were not aware in the first read-through of New Moon. While some say that this would deprive the movie-viewer of some of the power of New Moon, if done appropriately, perhaps some of the book could be preserved still. For instance, if we saw Edward in motion in South America, but did not know of his misery (i.e., by keeping him busy, or by not revealing long scenes of him there), perhaps the mystery and suspense, too, would be saved."

See now, I’m not a Kellan Lutz fan. He seems kinda cheesy. So far, as a whole then, the Wolves are impressing more than the Vampires although in a quiver cage match involving Alex Meraz (seriously, he’s GORGEOUS) and Jackson Rathbone, how do the loins choose? Aiya. As my mother would say: welly, welly so much to thinking! (translation: very, very, so much to think about).

Anyway, the wolves have been shooting with Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart all week. Robert Pattinson has stayed away from set. His scenes haven’t come up yet. Still training, still hiding. You’ve seen the emails I’ve been receiving. And Pina from yesterday isn’t even the craziest loser-ist of the all. Can you blame the boy for trying to disappear? They say he’s presenting tomorrow at Kids’ Choice. Rob on a red carpet. Don’t lie. I know you’ve been waiting all week for it!"

Becoming The Wolf Pack - Rene Haynes Talks About How Their Lives Will Change -

Celebuzz has an exclusive interview with Rene Haynes, the casting director responsible for the wolf pack in New Moon -

"They are all good kids," says Rene. "They have good heads on their shoulders. I think they'll navigate these waters the best they can."

"I've told them, make wise choices from here on out. This is what you've been working for. Don't mess it up."

Just to give you an idea of the fan intensity, IMDB's star meter showed Meraz's star ranking rose 25,566 percent in popularity this week (the shirtless picture at the top sure don't hurt).

Haynes' office set up an extensive nationwide search to find the actors. They searched their database of up-and-coming Native American actors. There was a call-out for video auditions, which brought in 600 tapes ("I watched them all," she says). There was also open auditions, including one in Vancouver which brought out thousands of hopefuls. Houseman was the lucky attendee who not only auditioned on that day, but also earned a part.

She also goes on to speak about casting Chaske Spencer -

Perhaps the hardest choice was that of casting Spencer. While Haynes declines to say what part the actor was cast for, fan sites have speculated Spencer is set for the part of Sam - a pivotal wolf pack leader who plays a prominent role in future installments.

"He's someone I feel is going to be a star," says Haynes. "I have cast him before. He's always done lovely work. It's awesome to know that it's time for this young actor to have a great breakout role like this."

Following the outstanding response from Twilight and Stephenie Meyer fans, the Russet Noon author has posted the following on their ebay pre order page -

"Dear eBay Buyers,

We regret to inform you that pre-order auctions for Russet Noon have been discontinued permanently. Everyone who purchased a copy of the novel will be issued a full refund within the next few days. There is a possibility that the novel might still be published online for free. However, the amount of threats and slander that some Twilight fans have spread on the web about Russet Noon might just be reason enough for the publishing team to pull the plug on this project altogether."

Now obviously threats are not good(Tut Tut), but woop to everyone who stood up against this blatant copyright infringement. Stephenie, we are all behind you!

New Moon Set Photos - Jacobs House

Rob Pattinson's Thoughts On New Moon -

Rob recently spoke with Reuters about New Moon, here is what he had to say -

"The book of 'New Moon,' the majority of it is incredibly depressing," Pattinson told Reuters. "Obviously 'Twilight' was about finding first love and the difficulties of that, but 'New Moon' is really about loss and reconciliation, but the reconciliation isn't completely full."

"It's a strange story to have for a market that, I guess, wants to see a love story," he said.
Nevertheless, the London-born Pattinson said everyone involved is working to make "New Moon" as big a success as "Twilight."

There is surely no way it can't be as big a success as Twilight, I for one am going to see New Moon atleast once more than I saw Twilight!!!

Canadian Mounties Called In To Protect The New Moon Set -

Radar Online has an article about the New Moon set, and how in order to protect the set and the stars they have called in the Mounties, all in an effort to keep set stalkers away. Here is an excerpt -

“It was an unusual mission but our remit was to keep the fans off the set,” Constable Baillant told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Everything went well on the first day but then a group of teenage girls got a little too close when the filming moved to the Long Beach area of the island.”

“They were totally miffed with us when we told them that they could not get any closer, however, their spirits lifted when Kristin Stewart came over to pose for a few photographs with them,” he recalled. “It was raining really hard the whole time but the producers loved that because it helped to make their scenes much more gloomy and atmospheric too. This is a beautiful part of the world but when it gets cold and wet even a vampire would get the chills.”

I think it's a good thing that they are trying to keep things under wraps. I know we all want to know everything, like, yesterday, but it keeps the suspense going...

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow -

E!Online have the following article on the 'hair war' between Rob and Taylor -

"You probably knew that New Moon's wows-ville wolfboy Jacob, Taylor Lautner, lops off his locks for the Twilight sequel. Well, catch a first glance at his less-is-more look on the Vancouver set. Cue the wolf whistles! He's clearly a cutie.
But the shorn-mellon motif is obviously a trend, what with bat-tastic Rob Pattinson going the same short-and-sweet route recently. Hmmm, he also cleans up quite nicely.

Now, I'm pretty sure that Taylor has been sporting that hair style for quite some time now, as has Rob. Infact Rob OWNS that hair style!! But I thought I may as well include the article just for the opportunity to stick another pic of Rob/Taylor on the blog!!

Russet Noon? - Oh My Edward!

Buzznet have the following article on Russet Noon -

"Come September 2009, a new volume in the Twilight saga will hit bookstore shelves. It's called Russet Noon and picks up where Eclipse leaves off—except the story is told from Jacob Black's perspective. Oh, one more thing... The book isn't written by Twilight author Stephenie Meyer . Instead, self-proclaimed "gothic webmistress" LadySybilla takes a stab at the series. Confused yet? Us too.

Although author Stephenie Meyer started writing a follow-up to Twilight (entitled Midnight Sun , which would be told from Edward Cullen's POV), she quickly shut down the possibility of the companion novel after an incomplete partial draft was leaked online . Meyer eventually made the pages public (and can be viewed here ), but she insists that she's taking a break from Twilight duty "indefinitely." However, that doesn't mean that someone else can't come in and fill the void, right? Enter LadySybilla.

We don't know a whole lot about the author—an intial Google search for "LadySybilla" came back with nothing more than a weird YouTube channel attributed to her—but we have some sparse deets about the book's plot. According to PRLog.org :

The Volturi are now watching the Cullens even closer, and a conspiracy is brewing deep within the catacombs of of Volterra. Aro is determined to put an end to Bella's happily ever after. He is obsessed with getting Renesmee to join his clan in Italy, while Edward and Bella refuse to make Renesmee a full vampire. Renesmee hates herself for being only a half breed, and her unhappiness turns Bella against her own daughter. Humans in Forks are starting to suspect something about the Cullens, and Renesmee's lack of self-control is to blame for it. Bella and Edward might have to leave Forks permanently to protect Nessie. Meanwhile, the spirit warriors have returned to live among the Quileutes. Taha Aki has made contact with Jacob to warn him that great danger is coming to La Push.

Wait a hot sec... Doesn't this lady need permission to write a book based on characters she didn't originally create? Good question. Here's the official statement from AV Paranormal , the publisher of Russet Noon :

"When fictional characters become such an intricate part of the popular psyche, as is the case with the Twilight Saga, legal boundaries become blurred, and copyright laws become increasingly difficult to define. This is especially the case when actual cities like Forks and Volterra are used as the novel's settings. Such settings are not copyrightable, as they are considered public domain. Similarly, the Quileute Nation is also not copyrightable, and neither are vampire or werewolf legends. Copyright laws protect writers from unauthorized reproductions of their work, but such reproductions only include verbatim copying. Characters are only copyrightable if their creator draws them or hires an artist to draw them. Stephenie Meyer herself borrowed a great deal from previous works dealing with these mythologies."

Um, still sounds like copyright infringement to us but guess it's up to Stephenie Meyer—and her team of lawyers.

Finally, if you want to hear something hilarious, here's a dramatic reading of Russet Noon 's preface by Lady Sybilla. Try not to drink anything while watching because we can't promise that it won't shoot out your nose."

Sorry for the mega post there guys but I didn't want to cut any of that out. Please for the love of all that is Edward, do not indulge this 'lady' in her fantasies that this book will sell and that she can ride on the back of Stephenie's works. This is SURELY copyright infringement at it's worst!!??

Noot Seear Cast As Heidi In New Moon?

Mark Malkin of E! online has the following article -

"New Moon has its Heidi.

I can exclusively reveal that Canadian supermodel Noot Seear has won the coveted role of the beautiful human bait in the Twilight sequel.
Heidi is described in Stephenie Meyer's novel as a "fisher" who brings humans to the Volturi vampires to eat. She has "exceptional, unforgettable" beauty, which includes stunning legs, long hair and violet eyes.
If y'all remember, 90210 starlet AnnaLynne McCord auditioned for the role, which insiders have described to me as being more of a cameo than anything else.
So who is this Noot Seear?
The 25-year-old dark blond stunner hails from Vancouver, Canada. (Yup, that's where director Chris Weitz just started shooting New Moon). She's 5 feet 9 inches tall and has blue eyes, according to her agency, One Model Management. Her measurements? 34-24-34."

Ooooooo, I'll try not to get too excited as this is not yet confirmed by Summit, but yay!! It all seems to be coming together! Now, who can dig up the rest of the Volturi cast. I specifically want to know who is going to play Aro. Pllleeeaaasseee!

Rachelle Lefevre - More New Moon Hints -

Shocktillyoudrop has a quick article on Rachelle Lefevre in which she discloses some more hints about New Moon -

“The books are all from Bella’s point of view,” she told me. “So there are things in New Moon that get talked about and are referred to, but don’t get described. Victoria spends all of New Moon trying to get to Bella. As a result, she fights werewolves and has encounters. They’ve basically tried to show more for the film. We want to keep the love triangle going, but we’ve kept more of the dark action, vampire-y stuff to keep those fans happy.”

Ooooooo, sounds like they are opening the story up a little. No complaints, so long as there isn't too much Rob during the 'depression months;. His reappearance will be all the sweeter if he is absent during the middle part of the film!! Yay for Rachelle that she gets more screen time.

Summit Website Finally Showing New Moon As 'In Production'

It's official New Moon is now 'in production' on the Summit website. Interestingly, it is listed as 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon', despite previous statements saying that the film is still called simply 'New Moon' like the book the film is based on. Not much info, just what we already knew but here it is -

Cast: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner

Written by: Melissa Rosenberg

So there you go!! Also, just as a side point, Summit have an official press release about 'Memoirs' and Robs involvement!

A New Moon Hopeful, Koa Orquia, has blogged on his myspace that Tyler Posey MAY have been cast as Seth Clearwater, here is what he has to say -

"Although I don't doubt that its true, I wont stop fighting for the part till its been confirmed by either NewMoonMovie.Org or by Summit Itself. Posey has been talked about for a while and has been my biggest competition thus far. So if he got it, great. "

Hopefully we'll hear something soon, although I didn't think Seth appeared until Eclipse?

Peter Facinelli Goes Beyond The Call Of Duty -

We all love Peter Facinelli, and now we have even more reason to. He recently visited Fort Lewis and met up with the soldiers and their families. Here is the report -

"Originally scheduled to last just two hours Saturday afternoon, Facinelli’s visit to the PX finally wrapped up at 2 a.m Sunday morning, some 16 and a half hours after it started. The appearance at the exchange capped off a whirlwind three day tour of Ft. Lewis that had Facinelli meeting troops from the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, talking with more than 100 military children at a local prep school and taking part in a question and answer session with some 1,000 fans at a free screening of the Twilight movie Friday night."
