Stephenie Meyer In Vancouver -

New Moon Movie website has an article on Stephenie arriving in Vanvouver. I hope most highly that this means there will be an announcement soon, as to the official cast. Now that Stephenie is preparing to go on set, this makes things seem like they are ready and coming together.

Terrific Twilight site, the Twilight Lexicon has an exclusive interview with Solomon Trimble, and it looks like bad news for all the 'Solomon for Sam Uley' petitioners out there. It has not been confirmed that Solomon will not be Sam, but he hasn't been told that he will be either, and at this late stage in the game, it's not looking good! More fuel for the fire that Bronson Pelletier could take his place? Below is an excerpt of the interview -

New Zealand New Moon Release Date...(now there's a mouthful!)

Still no news on the official UK release date of New Moon, however New Zealand's has been announced, and shock horror...It's before the U.S!! The release date in NZ is the 19th November 2009, with America's being the 20th. Why am I not a NZer??

Taylor Lautner - ready to sink his teeth into Bella...uh sorry...New Moon...

Taylor Lautner was featured in a small article by MSNBC focusing on the romance between Jacob and Bella in New Moon, here's what he had to say -

“I wanted to get ‘Twilight’ over with, let Edward have his time with Bella and get moving with ‘New Moon,’” Lautner, 17, told Life & Style. “It’s about time Jacob got in there.”

Rachelle Lefevre who plays Victoria said this in an interview with Life & Style -

“Taylor’s very serious about forming a connection with Kristen. He’ll make sure his relationship with her is just as intense and has just as much chemistry as Rob’s. I think Rob should watch out!”

What's next for Rob?

In a recent interview Rob was asked what he will do after Twilight. Here is what he had to say...


“…I have a gap in between, so I might do something in there, maybe,” he revealed of a small window between “New Moon” and “Eclipse” that could have him filming something new in late 2009. “I’m just relieved that I can kind of do anything [different].”


Bless him. He is still so shocked that he's got work and is doing well for himself, it makes him even more endearing!!

Rob is now in Japan!

Rob continues his busiest ever year, by flying over to Japan for their premiere of Twilight.

Apparantly Twilight is huge over there, so I hope Rob remembered to pack his ear plugs!!

Summit website update

Although we already knew this, just to confirm, Summit have now updated their website and have officially confirmed that the release date of Eclipse is 30th June 2010. Here is what is says on their site (www.summit-ent.com) -

Bronson Pelletier confirmed in New Moon cast

His agency has confirmed that Bronson, a canadian actor, will be playing a major part in New Moon. Bronson is a Native American, so will obviously be playing a member of the Quiliette Tribe, but which one? There is still no news on Solomon Trimble, so could Bronson have been cast as Sam? So many questions and so few answers!! I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Ashley Greene has her script for New Moon

Ashley has confirmed in an interview with Extratv that she has her script and she loves it!!

She said - “I’m so excited. I finally, finally got the script… and it’s good,” she revealed. “It’s really good… I’m really excited to work with Chris. I finally spoke to him the other day.” She added, “I like it better than the first one. I might be biased because I have a bigger part.”

Yay Alice!!! I love Ashley's part in New Moon and I bet she's looking forward to driving that yellow Porsche!!

Little Ashes moves to May

Originally being released on March 27th, Little Ashes has been pushed back to May 8th 2009. Kirsten Stewart's Adventureland is still due to be released in March. It's a longer wait, but at least it won't be in direct competition with Adventureland. I can't wait to see Rob with his moustache!!

Breaking Dawn Special Edition

On July 14th 2009 a special edition of Breaking Dawn will be released, the official description is as follows -

"This special edition of the fourth book in Stephenie Meyer’s riveting vampire love saga includes a full color poster and other exclusives."

It is available to pre order from Amazon.com, but not yet from Amazon.co.uk, although it is listed so I expect pre order will be available shortly! xx

Rob at the Oscars

Rather than presenting an award, Rob presented a 'romance in 2008' segment with Amanda from Mamma Mia. Twilight was featured in the montage and Rob looked yummy in his tux!!

The facial hair is all but gone, and if it wasn't for the fact that he has to get rid of it to play Edward, i'd say keep what's left, he looks lovely!! (also the hair is looking more and more 'Edward' every day) sigh!!!

Rob Pattinson Hair Watch

Newmoonmovie.org is running Rob Hair Watch, to monitor the growth (lol I love it!!) pre New Moon, It's looking good so far, but will it be long enough in a few weeks time when filming begins? I recon once the beard is gone he'll be back to looking just like Edward!

Chris Weitz not directing Eclipse?!

Despite the fact that New Moon and Eclipse are coming out so close together, they apparantly will NOT be filmed back to back, but have a brief gap in the middle. Also, New Moon will be in post production when Eclipse if being shot, so Chris will not be able to direct both. That is the general consensus around the web anyway. I'm not sure what I think about that, but I'm sure whoever directs Eclipse they will do a great job, you just gotta have faith (faith faith)!!!

Eclipse to premiere on 30th June 2010

The unexpected, but truly exciting news has emerged that Eclipse will premiere on 30th June 2010, only 7 months after New Moon. This surely points to the fact that they WILL be filming both NM and Eclipse back to back. Woop woop!! Apparantly Deadline Hollywood has been told this by Summit, so hopefully it is official, although their website has not been updated (www.summit-ent.com). Summit have also released the following description of Eclipse -

The OFFICIAL New Moon logo!!

Ahhhhh!!! How exciting. I personally love it. Very different from the Twilight logo, but in a good way in my opinion. What do you think? As an ode to the New Moon colour scheme I have changed the colours on the blog. I like it, I hope the readers do? xx

New Moon News (mini update)

The following is all unconfirmed news but news none the less. I was interested in it so I thought I'd share with you -

Robert Pattinson has reportedly said that he will not feature in the New Moon soundtrack, but Paramore will be, apparantly writing the title music (woop woop, love Paramore!).

OK! Magazine says that Brandon Michael Vayda will play Jared the Werewolf and that Anna Lynn McCord will play Heidi, this has not yet been confirmed by the actors themselves or the agents, but now that it has been printed in OK! we should find out the truth soon enough.

MTV has an exclusive preview tonight, with secrets from New Moon that are apparantly only to be shown by them. Noone else knows yet. This sounds exciting, finally something concrete?

New Moon Shooting Schedule (mini update)

In a recent, and extremely quick interview, Peter Facinelli has said that they begin rehearsals in a few weeks and then begin actually filming in April. He also said that he knows alot of secrets about what is going on and what is going to happen, but cannot say as he will break the vampire code. Bless, he must be getting into character as Carlisle (the worlds youngest and sexiest dad) early. Another rumour related to the shooting schedule, is that Chris Weitz, the new director for New Moon, is considering filming NM and Eclipse back to back to save time. Here's hoping ay!

Robert Pattinson Back in Los Angeles

Sorry fellow Londoners, but Rob has flown the coop and is back in Los Angeles. He has flown back early to be ready to present an award at the oscars this Sunday. He has been photographed with his manager on Rodeo Drive (shopping trip anyone?). But anyway, Boooooo, hurry up and film New Moon and then come home!!! I suppose we could always offer our services as a dog sitter for his beloved Patty? xx

Madonna in New Moon?

Thankfully not apparantly. There are rumours that Madonna will be in New Moon, but this has now been played down, and if she is in it it will be in a musical sense only. She may be featuring in the soundtrack. I'm not sure if I like that idea, I do like Madge but does she suit the Twilight Saga?

Robert Pattinson presents an Oscar!!

Apparantly Robert will be at the oscars, but going in via the back door to present an award. Previous rumours had said that it would be Kristen giving an award, but apparantly this is not confirmed, but Rob is. I'll be watching, if I can find out when it is showing on tv in the UK!!!

Painfully addicted to Twilight

It has come to my attention that I am addicted to Twilight. I, along with many of you, do not go one day without thinking of either Robert, the story, something, anything to do with the Saga. When I finished the books, I was almost inconsolable, I had to watch as many sad films as possible just to try and cry and get it all out (it didn't work, I wouldn't recommend it), and still I haven't gotten over it. I don't know what it is, but it sucks you in and there you will stay forever. So, I have decided that if I can't beat it I may as well join it, so I have stopped trying to get it out of my head and I am now enjoying obsessing. There in lies the topic of this post, please use the comments box underneath and finish the following sentence - 'I knew I was obsessed with Twilight when....'.

Mine would have to be, 'I knew I was obsessed with Twilight when my friends cat 'Edward' died and I cried for an hour'...(I never even met the damn cat)... Enjoy!

Solomon Trimble out of New Moon?

As much as it saddens me, it's looking more and more likely. With only a matter of weeks left until filming of New Moon commences, Solomon still hasn't heard anything from Summit about resuming his role as Sam Uley. Part of me thinks there is no way they will give his part to someone else, but apparantly someone else has been cast as Sam. The 'Baker Twins' ,which are two native american actresses, who also happen to be twins, recently went to a casting call for the role of Emily and the following email was later sent by them -

'A couple of my
friends were casted as ‘Paul’ and ‘Sam’.
I’m sooo excited for them.
Hopefully one of us get’s ‘Emily’.

How true this is, only time will tell....

Rob does have a Valentine.....

But don't panic, it's only his dog!!! Rob has to leave Patty, his little dog at home in London when he is away, so sent her a happy valentine video. Bless. Also, with reference to my previous post, yes Rob is still in London and was at the Groucho club on Valentines night. So close, and yet so far.....

Robert Pattinson, is single for valentines day!!! (yeee hah). It can't be nice being single at this time of the year, but rest assured Rob, you walk out your door and you will have date within seconds. I wouldn't like to be his agents when the post arrives!!! Also I believe he is still in London, rather than on set, although he may have moved by now. If he is, I know there are certain people on the near vicinity who would love to take him out for a good time!! ;)

Twilight Movie on iTunes US...

iTunes now has Twilight available to pre order for download on theri US site.. No sign on UK iTunes as of yet, but it can't be long now. Personally I prefer to have the dvd, but keep checking back on iTunes if you want to download. xx

Anna Lynn McCord to play Heidi...

Anna Lynn McCord has confirmed that she is in negotiations for the role of Heidi in New Moon. Not a huge role, but a role none the less. She is currently starring in 90210 and is busy with promo work, but is excited about sorting out her place for the Twilight sequel. Heidi is an interesting character, so it will be good to see how she pulls it off, if it all works out. What do you think about Anna playing this role?

Rob Reveals Stalker Story

Robert Pattinson has revealed that, during filming on a film in Spain last year, he gained a stalker who would stand outside his apartment all day every day, he said -

"I had a stalker while filming a movie in Spain last year. She stood outside of my apartment every day for weeks - all day every day. I was so bored and lonely that I went out and had dinner with her. I just complained about everything in my life and she never came back.”

Sam Uley Being Recast???

There are rumours flying about that Solomon will not be playing Sam Uley in New Moon!!
For anyone who isn't sure who he was, he's the guy in Twilight that said, "The Cullens don't come here". Now obviously that wasn't a significant part in the first movie, but in New Moon that is an entirely different story... He is infact one of the main characters. Solomon, who played Sam has put so much effort and research into the part that it would be a great shame for him not to continue with New Moon. Nothing is set in stone, but the character of Sam was on the casting call list for Native Americans according to some websites. I like him and I hope he keeps his part. What do you think??

Twilight Director's Notebook

Little Brown is publishing Catherine Harwicke's Director's notebook, which is a closer look at the makings of Twilight. It is due for release on March 17th, just in time for the DVD release of Twilight in the US. Not sure if the release date is the same for the UK, but hopefully we'll find out soon enough. There is not currently the facility to pre order this item anywhere, but I'm sure Amazon or other such store will have it soon.

I'm interested to see exactly what she puts in the notebook after all the controversy with New Moon and the fact that she will not be directing the rest of the franchise...

New Moon Shooting Schedule!!

News is floating around the Web that Summit has booked two weeks in May to film the Italy scenes. So Rob will be in Volterra in May woo woo!!

The stars are in Vancouver in pre production as of now, and should still begin to film in March!

I personally can't wait for New Moon, even if it means less Edward and more Jacob. What are your thought's on New Moon? Will you be able to cope without Rob for a while??

Melissa Rosenberg Confirms New Moon Cast

Melissa Rosenberg, screenwriter of Twilight and up coming New Moon has been quoted as saying, "I can tell you the original cast will all be coming back.". Yay!! We all thought it, but now we know that there won't be any nasty changes to characters in the next film.

She has also confirmed that Leah Clearwater will not feature in the next film, her part in the book was too small to write in for New Moon, therefore, no Vanessa!! Leah Clearwater will feature in the third movie Eclipse, but no casting decisions have been made this far ahead.

I can't wait for the next installment. Do you think it will be as good as Twilight??

Little Ashes

Not strictly Twilight related, but anything Rob related gets my attention. Little Ashes is due to be released on March 27th this year, and for anyone who hasn't heard about it, Rob plays Salvador Dali, which must be amazing for him. It may be a little hard to swallow watching our vampire heart throb don a dodgy moustache, but good on Rob for getting such an amazing part... I am going to see this movie, afterall Rob can't be Edward forever. (No really, he can't!!) Sob!

Slow Twilight News Week

Not much has gone on in the world of Twilight for the last week. The headlines have been dominated by Dakota Fanning and the will she won't she saga surrounding her playing Jane in the up and coming movie New Moon this November. She is still saying that it is a possibility, but I guess we'll have to wait and see when the official cast list comes out and filming commences in March.

So due there being no news, I thought it best to discuss something we all know well!! The books and current film Twilight. Without giving away too much for those who don't know the rest of the story, my favourite book is Eclipse due to the whole forest, tent space heater thing!! So tense and yet so funny!! What is your favourite book and why??

Blue Foundation Fans Read on...

Blue Foundation's album 'Life of a ghost', was previously only released in Scandinavia. However it is now available on Amazon.com as an mp3 download. This album features 'eyes on fire' from the Twilight soundtrack. Personally it's one of my favourite songs in the film.

There has been news that Chris Weitz is open to a much more experimental soundtrack for New Moon, as the movie franchise is now well known enough not to have to rely on big artists such as Muse (although I think they fitted in very well), so maybe we will discover more gems such as 'eyes on fire' this November!!
